Booth 1809 & Patient News is a must see!

The Patient News annual dental marketing survey revealed that 85% of Patient News clients are in a practice growth stage. This is phenomenal news considering the overall industry has suffered a 5% decline in patient spending in the past couple of years. Practices currently experiencing decline may have entered the economy by cutting their marketing spending (never a good plan) or the media bombardment about social and digital may have led them to shift focus from traditional proven methods of reaching patients and prospective patients … and now, unfortunately, they’re losing patients and dollars.

Visit Booth 1809 at the Chicago Mid-Winter Meeting. Senior Account Manager, and PNP’s current Employee of the Year Carrie McKay and Account Executive (and former PNP Account Manager) Victoria Bullock will be onsite to talk to you about your business successes, challenges, and pain points. They’ll have hundreds of real dental marketing campaigns to show you, and can take your questions and concerns and provide you with expert advice and marketing information for consideration as you contemplate how to increase your productivity and revenue in 2012.

Are you a PNP client? You definitely need to make a point to drop by to introduce yourself and say hi to Carrie & Victoria. We want to hear how you’re doing so that we can identify any areas where we can improve our service to you. We’d also love to get a snapshot or video of you with our team to bring back to PNP!

If you haven’t already done so, create a list of your top strategic goals for this year. Increased revenue, more ideal new growth … perhaps introduction of new products or technology to stay competitive or increasing value for patients at each touch point.

Constantly review your topline revenue numbers, your new-patient growth numbers, and make sure your practice is on the trajectory you want. I really haven’t spoken to many smart business people who are happy with “status quo.” These folks are always reviewing key performance metrics within their organization. For a dental practice you’re looking at your topline revenue, monthly collections, hygiene bookings, active patients, monthly new patient numbers … if you’re not satisfied with any aspect – do what you do best – drill down!

> Do you need to implement an effective training plan for continuous improvement for all team members? Be aware that the person who answers your phone IS your practice when new patients call. They have 100% control over whether that new patient caller books an appointment or not.

> Do you need to strengthen your position as your community’s leading dental practice? The one that prospective patients always choose?

> Do you need to review your marketing presentation and effectiveness?

> Do you need to create a core purpose and improve your practice culture to retain good employees and retain more good patients?

> Do you need a more-consistent patient communication plan – including all active, inactive, and prospective patients – built to support your strategic goals?

> Are you losing patients or new patients to competition in your area? What is your plan to compete? Identify their value propositions and ensure that your marketing communications will instill the value to be found with your dental practice.

As always please contact Patient News at 888.377.2404 anytime between 8:30am-6:00pm EST Monday to Friday to talk to an Account Executive about your marketing ideas and goals. They’re always available for a free consultation at your convenience. Messages will be returned within one business day.

And if you’ll be in the Windy City on February 23rd to 25th, drop by Booth 1809 at the Mid-Winter Meeting and say hi to Carrie & Victoria!
