Healthy Mouth Protects Your Body

We know that you know that removing harmful bacteria from your mouth protects your teeth and gums. Sometimes, for whatever reason, a brushing can be missed, or we brush and skip the floss... But when that happens, the bacteria will attack your teeth and your gums, leading to decay and gum disease.

Inflammation (swelling) is a symptom of gum disease, and it allows oral bacteria to enter your bloodstream and reach other parts of your body. As your body repeatedly fights the bacteria, your immune system will become depleted, leaving you more and more susceptible to disease.

It is critical that you ensure excellent home care and that you book (and keep!) regular recare and dental treatments. Has your recare been suspended? Let’s get it back on track – an excellent offense is your best defense.
