What If A Patient Doesn’t Respond To The Reminder?
Our system automatically sends additional follow-up messages until a hygiene appointment is booked up to 60 days past their recall due date. That said, despite best efforts, getting a response from some patients can sometimes be a challenge. If a patient doesn’t respond to your first or second reminder, a direct phone call can be an effective next step. Combining different communication strategies, including automated texts and emails, followed by personal phone calls, can significantly increase the chances of reaching patients and encouraging them to schedule appointments.
