The Dental Marketing Gurus

I always try to provide you with a takeaway from our dental marketing blog. I respect your time and know if you’re going to take time to read it, I must provide value – maybe I don’t hit the mark every month, but hopefully various topics resonate with different segments of your operations.

Today’s take away – you have direct access to our owners. Let me tell you a little about Karen Galley and Wayne Lavery – co-owners of Patient News. You’ve probably seen their images in our Quarterly Updates or in email communications. You may have met them at trade shows or heard from them by telephone. Like you, they are dental entrepreneurs who really care about their clients. For you it’s your patients’ dental health – for us it’s your business’ health.

Wayne came up with the original idea and with Karen’s creative flair and business acumen they now lead an organization that has surpassed 20 years in business, mailed over 100 million dental marketing pieces, and expanded from patient newsletters to leading-edge dental marketing programs, and digital and social media products and services.

Wayne is a down-to-earth guy, he’s easy to talk to and he’s really smart. He has two terrific kids and lives close to PNP HQ with his partner Skye and their two dogs. Wayne is an avid sports enthusiast who loves skiing of any kind – which led to his double knee replacement last year (he grew 1” in height)!

Karen is also totally down to earth. She has a great sense of humor and a keen sense for strategic thinking.  She has two children, and lives with her partner Peter (between Toronto & New York).  Karen is committed to health and fitness and is a foodie in the truest sense of the word.

Starting and growing a company isn’t easy. As private practice owners, you know this. It takes guts, knowhow, patience, and an ability to attract and develop a great team. It takes curiosity and a natural openness to continuously learn. It takes instinct and knowledge. Karen and Wayne have accomplished a lot. Applying the best business practices to PNP’s core values and our very unique positive culture has been instrumental in our growth. We’ve won many awards over the years as great employers and successful entrepreneurs, yet our biggest compliment is when we hear our clients say, “That’s a great company – great people, great service.” Just like you, we’ve had a lot of fun, but certainly a lot of blood, sweat, and tears have gone into PNP. Karen and Wayne can both relate very closely with your challenges and goals as business owners. That’s why we’re so acutely aware of the importance of what we provide to you.
